Terminology is a company asset

A company often takes several years to associate the characteristics of its product or service with dedicated terminology in the different languages in which it is marketed, and which the final customer in turn associates with these characteristics or functions. Changing this terminology can lead to misunderstandings by leading the final customer to believe that the product’s functions have been changed with the change of terminology. But how can this be managed when the company’s multilingual terminology is scattered across thousands of pages or hundreds of Word, Excel, Framemaker files or other types of file. Terminology

We can help protect this asset through alignment of existing translations

Alignment consists of synchronizing all validated translations of source documents (if necessary, after OCR scanning of paper documents). The result obtained is a database or translation memory consolidating everything produced in multilingual communications. At a cost that is about 10% of the price of translation, the customer can not only save up to 40% on future translations but, above all, ensures that the dedicated multilingual terminology will not change over time or with a change of supplier.
